vegan, day one, take two

Mar 06, 2006 22:44

ok so retrying the vegan thing this week now that I'm feeling better,

Lunch -- fried rice and veggies (yeah, familiar dish...they always have it so it's a nice standby) and a glass of water. I thought about trying some "vegan hot and sour soup" but it seemed kind of sketchy so I skipped out on it.

Dinner -- pasta with pesto sauce, a glass of water, and a salad. Some pasta is ok, some is not...I confess that I didn't ask because I didn't want to know. My assumption here is that if I were actually on my own practicing this sort of diet I would've found some vegan-friendly pasta so it's ok. Salad was my usual, lettuce, carrots, onions, and dressing. Well, my usual minus cheese of course :-). I thought about adding some broccoli but eventually decided I wasn't in a broccoli mood today. Maybe tomorrow.

Dipwise, everyone continues to tell me they're my friend and of course we should ally together...guess on thursday we'll find out just who's lying to who. Trying to keep my options open but I'm worried I'll step over the line and end up ticking EVERYBODY off, and mincemeat by 03. Oh well. Russia's a tough country to play, but I think in email dip it may be right up my alley. Almost every article I read says Russia requires a LOT of talking to your neighbors, and since I compulsively check my email at least 15 times a day while I'm playing, that plays to one of my strengths.

Tomorrow's town meeting day, no classes, yayness! Unfortunately I can't totally enjoy it because I have some work I still have to catch up on :-/. Thbbbt.
