Kayne West!
So last night was a Kayne West night, fo'sheezy. I was working for another station in our cluster at the state fair where we were giving away the new cd. When I got home and got into bed, Lesley and I started listening to the album, which is really good. And somewhere else in America, Kayne was going off script. The story and video can be found here. Basically, a clearly very nervous Kayne West chose to call out Bush and the administration instead of reading off the teleprompter. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air. Mike Myers sounds so clinical next to Kayne. In my airshifts this weekend I did a read for Storm-Aid. As honest and sincere as I tried to make it, it had that "our children our dying sound." So, I found the honesty and sincerity of Kayne's little speech to be wonderful.
