Halloween!

After failing at costume ideas, I decided to just make something up. Lacking accessories and props, I went with makeup:

As someone who applies makeup once or twice yearly at most, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I've definitely gotten better with eyeliner. I've never done mascara before, so that was a new experience. I really like the blue eye shadow I found, but it's hard to see in the pictures.
I went to a house party that got shut down by the cops, which is sad because it was not loud and not out of control except for one jackass who was causing a ruckus and ruined it for everyone. I wasn't ready to go home yet at 12:30, so my friend Cathy and I went people watching on Mill, the little downtownish area close to campus. I wanted to go dancing, but didn't want to wait forever in line to be part of a scene I don't even like. Again, I miss Portland. We ended the night at Waffle House, where I think I really freaked out the old dude there. He wouldn't stop staring at me.
Today, as misshepeshu pointed out, I am FAILBOT. My date for tonight cancelled (with appropriate reason), I drove to acroyoga but got the day wrong, and the ice cream truck I went to didn't have the flavor I wanted. BOOOOO!
I guess I'll just have to go practice.
