I'm gradually adjusting to being on a mere 75 mg of anafranil. Have had to take extra klonopin and gabapentin in order to get through the withdrawal, which I'm reluctant to do because I only get so many of these pills per month, ya know? Taking more now means having to take less later.
Anyway, I felt good enough yesterday to get in a decent workout: over two hours. I've been reading up on how exercise serves to create serotonin and other happiness-inducing neurotransmitters in the brain. Now, I don't believe everything I read on line--how could I when websites contradict each other so much? But what I've been able to glean overall is that the benefits occur more quickly than I'd previously thought, but don't last as long. Also that I've been wise to vary intense vigorous exercise with that which is lower impact but lasts longer (namely walking).
