Drabble post - Good Omens

Oct 12, 2008 12:28

One solitary drabble written for writing_game, week 50.

[Crowley/Aziraphale, 100+42 words, Untitled]

Crowley knew everything about temptation. (Well, a demon who didn't would do well to read the manual*. And a demon who admitted he didn't indeed deserved whatever punishment Below saw fit to dole out.)

He could easily have tempted the angel into doing pretty much anything, they had known each other for so long.

But it wasn't temptation he had in mind, temptation wouldn't have felt right; he wanted to seduce Aziraphale.

And in this difference lay the reason for Crowley's hesitation to make his move today, because the demon knew only one thing about seduction.

That it could fail.

*Yes, there really was one. Either a junior demon had wanted to impress his boss, or someone had been very, very bored Below. Crowley had been issued his copy, that he had sadly lost very early on (free to a good home^^)

(Yes, I still intend to write that elusive second drabble. It just didn't seem fair to make everyone wait for the next board until the moment when I finally write it.)

Week 51 board is there, new and shiny. (And hopefully, the prompts are writable this week^^)
