Aghhh
Things I'm looking for: sweet HP slash christmassy fics, not too long, that I could translate for an advent calendar thingy on hp_slash_fr.
Things I've found so far: lots of higher rated stuff (I'm not good at translating them). Stories going over 10 000 words (I could have worked with that, but I need to find, oh, 10 entries I can make, starting in less than ten days). Stories by people who've left LJ. Or haven't updated in so long that it's as good they're gone. A very promising SSHG fic (that I'll have to get back to in January or something).
OK, I did find a handful of stories I could use. Now, I have to read them over again, get the authors' green light for a translation and, you know, actually translate. If I remember how it's done.
And I'd sworn to myself last year that I would be ready next time. I never learn.
