Writing Game's Week 83 Drabble
It's been so long since I last played that I haven't been able to find my previous repost of a drabble for the game. Anyway, I've managed one drabble and for completeness' sake, here it is.

Something's Not Right
Skipper couldn't quite put a flipper on it, but there was something fishy to this situation, there surely was. Maurice was mixing a smoothie for King Julien; and his men were enjoying a bit of quiet downtime. Even Kowalski was there, placidly chewing gum, waiting for his drink to cool. Wait... what!?
Transfixed, Skipper saw Kowalski discretely spit out his gum into the wrapper, then look pointedly at Julien until the King produced a piece of paper and proceeded to dispose of his sweet in a Kowalski-approved manner. The ensuing nod didn't go unnoticed.
“Kowalski!” Skipper called. “Remind me again, how long exactly did you and King Julien spend in that time loop of yours?”
Immediately Skipper found himself the sole focus of the scientist's attention. “Oh please, Skipper. Do you really want me to explain once more that there is no duration to a time loop?”
Indeed not.
