01. Who's your favorite character in 2?
[The Shield] Either Dutch or Julian. I tend to pay their storylines more attention than any of the other characters'.
02. Who's your least favorite character in 1?
[TWW] The Vice-President, be it Hoynes or 'Bingo Bob' Russel.
03. What's your favorite episode of 4?
[LoM] I need to see the show again, but I'll go with the season 1 finale.
04. What's your favorite season of 5?
[Third Watch] Again, I'd need to see it again, but I'll pick the last one, season 6, because the ending was satisfying, and because so many favorite characters were introduced in later seasons.
05. Who is your favorite ship in 3?
[Psych] Shassie, with a side-serving of Gus/Juliet.
06. Who is your anti-ship in 2?
[The Shield] Anti-ship? I'm not sure what it means. A ship I dislike, all the more because it is canon, is Shane/Mara. (Also, to a lesser degree, Julian/Vanessa 'cause it's plain wrong.)
07. How long have you watched 1?
[TWW] Since I caught a season one episode on TV in the middle of the night, some ten years ago. After that, I've bought the DVDs as fast as they were released.
08. How did you become interested in 3?
[Psych] I can't remember. Which is weird, given the depth of my obsession right now. I know that I caught a few episodes on TV, and gave them attention because Dulé Hill was in them. After that, almost nothing - even when I wrote that (lame) remix, I wasn't much into it. Then, bam, a few month ago, I started reading fics like mad, and bought the season 1 DVDs, and now I just have to make a conscious effort not to whine every three minutes because there are no more zone 2 DVDs. And I can't remember what triggered that. I was into Merlin back then!
09. Who's your favorite actor/actress in 4?
[LoM] John Simm. The show wouldn't be the same if he didn't have this ability to take us along for the ride.
10. Which do you prefer: Show 1, 2 or 5?
[TWW, The Shield, Third Watch] The West Wing, because I've been a fan for so long now that it has seniority over the other two.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
[TWW, Psych] The West Wing. Seven seasons to only one. *whines*
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
[LoM] I'd like to be Nelson, but I'm probably more of a Chris.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1?
[TWW] Well, I don't know if I could pick a favorite even if I wanted, but it doesn't matter much, because the answer is the same for any of them: on duty, taking a not-so-metaphorical bullet for the President.

15. Which character from 5 would be a good guest star on 2?
[Third Watch, The Shield] A very wide-eyed Bosco?
16. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
[Psych/LoM] I don't think so. Poor Sam has enough on his plate without adding a fake psychic to the mix, and I don't think Lassiter & Gene would ever get on together. Plus, I have the distinct feeling that Nelson's pub is sorely lacking in pineapples daiquiris. And the other way around, Gene in an Hawaïan shirt, going fishing with Henry? Never going to happen. (Though, come to think of it, Juliet in 1973's Manchester would be terrific!)
17. Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple.
[TWW] Toby and Margaret. I can see it so clearly in my mind, yet I've never been able to write them together.
18. Has 5 inspired you in any way?
[Third Watch] Not that I can remember.
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4?
[The Shield, LoM] I'd have to say The Shield, because, you know, Glenn Close & Forest Whitaker and all that. And also because there's seven seasons, and new characters being brought in, and there's just many more actors than in Life on Mars. But the Life on Mars cast is excellent too. Just not as impressive, maybe.
20. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5?
[Psych, Third Watch] Life on Mars! Come on, can you top a Bowie song per episode? Between Psych and Third Watch, I'd choose Psych, because it's funny and gets stuck in your head for hours, while you can't really sing along the Third Watch theme. So there.
