+ Also also, my love for Life on Mars fics is epic, let me tell you. (Yes, I know, not so long ago I was all about Psych and I still love it, I do, but I've read all the already existing Shassie, and there's no release date for more DVDs, so...) I'm halfway through a fic, and I just had the urge to stop and share this tidbit of dialogue:
Gene curses, and Sam has once again to dodge a flailing arm. [...] “Oi! What’s with the arms?!” he exclaims.
Gene grunts and falls back against the seat. “This soddin’ thing doesn’t work.”
“It’s a bloody coat, Guv,” he says to the to the roof. “It doesn’t ‘not work’!”
“Well, this doesn’t!”

And it's nothing special, but it's like I'm drunk on fics and I wanted to share and tell you that I love you all, flist ♥ OK, shutting up now. No need to incriminate myself further.
