(no subject)
What a week.
I don't feel like writing a whole negative paragraph so I will sum up the events of the past week and a half with a list. It begins with the first night in our apartment..
-Took a shower, our kitchen flooded.
-Now worried about bad plumbing and possible mold in our walls.
-Ran the dishwasher, it started smoking.
-Kaido jumped over the fence on our patio to chase ducks, dove into the lake. She can't swim, and there are alligators in there. (We saw 2 of them)
-Loud upstairs neighbors moving their furniture and running up and down the stairs at 4am. I had to confront them, now they probably hate us.
-DEAF indian neighbors who blast their techno music all day and night and make our whole building smell like curry.
-School bus stop outside our bedroom window. Like clockwork, we are woken up every morning at 7am by loud teenagers.
We are generally able to tolerate annoying things, but all this is ridiculous. We already went to the office to talk to the leasing manager to get out of our lease. They are upgrading us to a bigger apartment in a nicer part of the complex. Thank God. We have to wait at least 30 days but we can tough it out.
Other than that, things are good. I love my job, all my co-workers, and my new position rocks. I'm pushing 50 hours a week between both jobs, hopefully I'll get to quit shapes soon. The money just doesn't even compare to bare escentuals.
One week from today is my birthday! Next saturday we are going out to have dinner with my darling tina (who shares the same birthday) and some of our friends. Then sunday on my actual bday I believe I'll go out with Wilson and other friends. We will see. And some time this week, I NEED to start christmas shopping. Haha, haven't even thought about it yet.
Can't wait for my birthday, can't wait for christmas, can't wait to move out of this hole, and can't wait to go to Savannah! There's something else I'm really excited over, but I don't wanna jynx it... :D
