That's my new name for the Wednesday night softball team, the Sarcastic and Crass Crowd, SCC for short.
Last night was a doubleheader with the SCC. We won one game and lost another. It was another gorgeous night. After doing karate on Monday and Tuesday nights, the doubleheader last night means I'm moving a bit slow today, I must say.
I've been convinced to go to another softball tournament with the SCC on Saturday. This one guarantees us at least four games, but we may play up to SEVEN. That's right, boys and girls, seven softball games in one day. Can you say ibuprofen? I know I can.
Next week I'm back with the Tuesday night team, the Rainbow Brites, so no SCC. And I will be done with tourneys for at least two weeks, maybe more.
Karate update: It is at least theoretically possible that I would test for second-degree black belt next March. I'm trying to wrap my brain around that. I really feel like I'm just getting my feet under me with being a black belt at all, even though it's been a year and a half.
Oh, and one is officially considered a "Sensei" (which translates to "Master" or "Teacher") at third-degree and can at that point open their own dojo. Yeeeah. Trippy.
