Tomorrow my last class at [certificate-granting institution] starts. This one be Developing Pages for the Web. *insert scoffing laughter here*
After that class is done, I will have my second applied certificate and will say buh-bye to [certificate-granting institution].
This Saturday I'm playing in an all-day softball tournament with the Wednesday night team, the one with the sarcastic and crass players. I kinda grew up with that sense of humor, so I understand that giving someone crap is actually a sign of affection. Any actual complimentary statements should be taken with a grain of salt initially, and, if genuine, constitute a verbal French kiss.
This tourney should be around five games. I haven't played five games in a day since I was 7 and playing T-ball. So Sunday may very well be spent in recovery, hopefully not literally. We will see. *insert nervous laughter here*
Actually this team seems pretty tight and I feel like I have a place. They like me. They like how I play and aren't afraid to say it. I lost my group when I broke up with L, so I'm looking forward to being around a "family" again. It may be a dysfunctional and taunting one, but they are a team in the literal and emotional sense nonetheless.
