*Swoon* David Yates you are my hero. You as well Mark Day and everyone who worked on that film. Oh my god how amazing was that? Despite the fact that our projector was having a few issues it managed to sort itself out and god that movie is bloody good.
Weirdly enough my favorite scene had to be the Cissy, Bella, and Snape scene at the very beginning. It was oddly my favorite from the book as well but honestly watching Helena and Alan play off of each other is rather amazing. Seriously my heroes.
The actors are all grown up now and it's kind of crazy. Both Dan and Rupert have some amazing comedic skills as well. So much fun. Like the luck potion that
platinumvampyr pointed out he's like a mini Doctor in that scene. And Ron and the love potion! Omg!
I have to say with books I didn't get quite what David Yates really nailed. They're sixteen both Harry and Draco and look what they're doing. I mean I just wanted to give them both hugs. That is a sucky thing for both of them to deal with, from either side.
Gah, I know I have more to say about it but I need to go watch it again, right now. So suffice to say despite the epically long wait OMG SO GOOD.
Oh also, despite my obvious ship I do love Luna+Harry because they're just kind of mellow and awesome together. I loved all the relationship doings in this film really, somehow the movies do it better for me than the books did. Huh.
EDIT: ALSO BLAISE ZABINI IS MY DARK CHOCOLATE LOVE GOD, HOLY FUCK. *swoon*
