Start flexing!
So I have this thing for sword and sandal movies as they're called. Usually made in the 50s-60s from Italian production companies and utterly made of win. Sons of Hercules being a favorite because they even get a theme song. They're not even B movies really, more to C and D but they were cheap to get (hell cheap to make) and dub over so the US got an influx.
Which means of course they're out on dvd now. The most recent acquisition is a wide screen and restored copy of Goliath and the Dragon. It's pretty awesome (and even has a Hercules: Conqueror of Atlantis extra!) and they even had a bit of a budget so animatronics that are worse than the muppets from hell that were on the DW Christmas special this year. I will perhaps make a post later with screen shots and giggly commentary.
What this post is about is the most epic menu ever.
Another really nice thing about these movies? Men in wee shirts that are *incredibly* well bit.
Also no school today because freezing rain makes roads *way* to icy around here. Apparently it's supposed to storm tomorrow, huzzah.
