This and that
I've been a bit MIA lately. Got back Saturday to the homestead and just sort of collapsed. This week will hopefully be a whole lot less stressful, what with plans to go dancing on Thurs and then plans to go drinking on Friday (yay legal). Plus I get tomorrow off from school 'cause woo veterans (which I'll probably make a post about tomorrow 'cause well yeah). But yeah, I've been around but not, just surfing and reading old favorite fanfics and stuff. Comfort and something just not stressful.
So caught up on Criminal Minds
Okay first things first I love the... new team (when you mainline it's all a tad newer than following along). Rossi *really* grew on me, especially when they stopped making him less of an ass. He's cool but he's not Gideon and they're not trying to make him into him (another thing I love about this show is that they acknowledge that their characters are individuals and don't try to shoehorn them into the same role the character they are replacing filled). He's sort of like the cool uncle but I can deal with stepdad (oh Hotch, you mom you).
Prentiss is awesome and I kinda adored her from square one. Elle was always off or on with me, I didn't really love her completely. Prentiss on the other hand I draw hearts all over my notebook for. Garcia and JJ as well.
Speaking of JJ omg JJ/Will and baby forever. Seriously, I don't think I've ever adored a pregnancy storyline this much before. It might help that she's pretty much made of awesome (I really really adore the team).
Also Reid/Morgan forever man. I mean I love Morgan/Garcia as bff but honestly I doubt either one is looking to take their relationship physical, they have to much flirting to change it (and lets face it, sex does change your relationship). And Reid/Morgan/Garcia is just damn perfect (that one shot when Garcia has been shot and she's in her hospital bed, reid on one side and morgan on the other and they're each touching one arm *that's* OT3 man).
I cried like a baby when Gideon left, I'm not gonna lie. And I loved that we saw the transition period, it wasn't just replacement next epi it was a slow growth. Go show. They tend to do really good with stuff like that.
Although one thing I didn't get was Hotch's divorce. Season 2 Haley was pretty much fine with Hotch belonging to the job but immediately in season 3 *bam* she's *hating* on it. I just kinda felt they could have handled that a bit better. That being said season two period was kinda... weird and omg gory. Seriously people, I'm not watching CM for a gory movie kick. *shudder* Thankfully they toned it down in season three.
All in all I love this show and it's equal opportunity when it comes to beating up characters (although Morgan having being abused when he was a kid made me raise my eyebrow just a tad).
Now onto Jeremiah, which is full of post-apoco goodness and fills me with glee. *glee*
Also, SPN fandom shit like this is why I hesitate to admit I'm in SPN fandom. Seriously, I know you're not all like this but... god.
I.. might have had more to say? But it's gone now. Anyway I'll be slowly coming back into stuff here, comments etc. Thanks to everyone for the warm wishes and advice with the stuff with my grandma, love you all.
