I still want to bitchslap one of my coworkers, though.
Anyway, to my main point - they're shutting down the Lucky. And demolishing it. How can they do that? Sad what's happened to Newcastle. It's not a question of my ever going home - there's no home to go to. So many people met, games of pool, food eaten (brought in)... even Necro was there for a while. It was, I guess, more "my pub" than any other, though I hadn't been there much in the past 3 years (it was unequivocally a student pub, and I was too old). But I get sentimental about places. Now they're ripping apart my world piece by piece, and that pisses me off.
