In order to kick off Oktober(fest) in a suitably Germanic way, we shall be repairing to the Bavarian Bier Cafe on O'Connell St from 5:30pm to partake of some Bavarian biers and sausage. Feel free to join us if you enjoy geeky references.

That sounds so great... I am trying to find a decent Oktoberfest around here. The one at Buttai Barn was supposed to be good - But it was fucking terrible *sigh*

What about at the Germainia Club? I never got around to going myself...

What I like about the Bavarian is it's not as kitschy as Lowenbrau, where I couldn't be dragged.

The Germainia Club is a bit too far away for me. If I or Ben drink, we won't be able to get home and I don't really want to stay in Warners Bay the night.

I will find somewhere close (and hopefully GOOD).

Work has been ridiculous since the centralisation. Sometimes I think I'll throw my media contact book and proofs out the window and go get a job at Baskin Robbins.
