She isn’t sure how long she’s been screaming. She knows there is no aching in her throat, but she feels as though she’s been screaming for days. Weeks, maybe. Incessantly. She watched the guards when she first got there and couldn’t understand why every once in a while, they would collapse in pain whenever they brought her food or water. Annoyed by the screaming, she would understand. Knocked on their ass by it was something else.

Anymore, there were no coherent words or names that came out. Just long, terrified, anger that never seemed to cease. She was done crying out for something… someone… to save her. She had begged the Phoenix to do what it had promised; to protect her; but it simply laid in wait. Fed off her emotion, building for something she couldn’t name.

Time had slipped away from her, but she knew it had been longer than a day or a week. She was supposed to be in Bellwood with Ben and Gwen, Kevin and Devlin, working at the smoothie place and trying to start over. Her screams waned as she tried to picture Ben’s face. It was the only thing holding her mind together. She had Ben. Except…. She knew she didn’t. Someone else had him. Someone else who looked and acted and felt just like her. Someone who wasn’t her at all. Tyler had said her name and it took a long time before she had been able to recognize it.

Vanessa.

The same shapeshifter that had once convinced Cable that she was Domino. Her mother. The very idea that she had turned into her mother without being given a choice boiled her blood. She stopped struggling against the bonds that held her a long time ago, but her mind still fights. It fights the idea that Tyler would do to her what he had done to her mother so many years ago, back before Bea had ever been a thought in any dimension. He wouldn’t hold her captive for a year, and he wouldn’t make Ben fall in love with this person that wasn’t her. She would stop it. She would…

The screams began again. And another guard collapsed. Her brows would have furrowed if her entire body hadn’t ached so much.

Her throat doesn’t hurt, because she hadn’t used it. Her screams are coming from somewhere deep within her mind. And somewhere in a darkened room, a madman smiles at the sound of, to him, what seems like a symphony.

((OOC: Okay, so Bea got snagged by Tyler again, which was kind of my plan all along, but she just happened to get kidnapped while tryingto get to Bellwood. Ben has no idea, because Tyler sent... guess who... Copycat to replace her. Crazy shapeshifter people. ANYWAY. Anyone who talks to Bea right now, it's going to be meta until she's able to get past the telepathy blocks Tyler's installed in his facility. Yay! *dies*
