She hadn't really done this before. Flying by herself. At least, not when it didn't involve a plane, anyway. It was really the first time she'd voluntarily used the Phoenix force and she had to admit, it definitely came in handy.
Touching down in the school football field, since school was out and people were less likely to spot her there, she made her way off school property as quickly as possible, tugging her cellphone out of her back pocket. Firing off a text message to Gwen, she followed the directions that she'd been given and somehow managed to make decent time. Twenty minutes later, she was knocking at Gwen's door and checking to make sure she'd remembered to bring the credit card her dad had given her ages ago.
