so I got my class schedule figured out today it was....entertaining. First, I went to an orientation expecting a moderate taste of the "college environment". What I got was a man who incoherently rambled and seemed very uncertain and unrehearsed about what he said. He actually reminded me a bit of Mr. Clark, as is...he was trying to be too polite, too nuetral and not state the the important things. What I want to know how the fuck could you offend someone by giving a lecture on going to school, "well as you all know college is expensive," ding ding ding, there you go. Its expensive thus offending all of the rich students who didn't give a damn in high school, oh there you go already offending a majority. Then of the course theres the, "alright kids, who ever answers the question @ what these initials are gets a tootsie roll," no joke. The question you ask;initials of.....ya know the fucking campus were sitting on *sigh*. I know I'm being cynical but my god, it was like everything he asked was a question he was so fucking ambivalent, "now right you have the option taking classes on campus, you have the option of taking classes on campus? Anyways long story short, I walked away from this with the idea in my head not to let myself get intimidated by this. Today I met with an advisor, who was asian, and spoke terrible english. That was always pleasent, but I got it figured out and I'm excited and a bit perturbed @ starting all of this. I want to go to open mike night when I return!!
