Hello! This is Elektra from GSA at East. I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about how to get it started back up, it's been kind of slow going this year. Senior Pierce is pretty much full as far as clubs go, Liz suggested asking Mr Baker to be our sponsor. Any advice? Thanks bunches, and the hair looks awesome!

Well to get it started you need to 1. have a specified number of club members, 2. you need to fill out a club charter (pick it up in the office). My suggestions are to make an appointment with Mr. Nannan and ask him what you need to do. I'm sorry to hear its going slow, listen once you get it started what you need to do is publicize. Get it in the paper or something but make sure that the other high school gsa's know you exist. I can also help you get into contact with the gsa's from other schools. Aside from pursuing the agenda of all high school gsa's you are free to do what you like. I have a bunch of papers that were given to me by mr. baker from the previous gsa if you need them at some point(I left them in Lincoln), I could arrange for you to get them. It will mostly give you ideas about what issues to discuss. Be creative with it, talk @ pop culture, gay icons, try to get organizations to come in and talk such as plag (parents of lesbians and gays). Most importantly be heard, not only for yourself but to keep the club ( ... )
