Fic is arranged by fandom, series and when posted, more or less. If I posted it way back, it's alphabetical within categories. Let's just agree to pretend there's a system, okay? That which I would most like to represent myself by is starred.

Doctor Who )
Background: I was very sick this last week with a cold from Hell and I was looking through my favorite stories/authors on Teaspoon and found you and then I saw that story... I hadn't ever read it, despite loving many of your other DW stories, because it was marked unfinished and I hate reading unfinished stories. Still, this time, I couldn't resist the draw and then after the first chapter, I was just hooked. The world you created! And the story you've crafted! Oh, it was magnificent. And so, that leads me back to the beginning of my comment. I saw in your author info that you had this livejournal and I was really hoping you might be posting to your LJ and just forgetting to update different archives (something I'm prone to doing). I'm so sad to see that's not the case with that story. Could you at least tell me whether or not you've abandoned the piece? If so, I completely understand. But it would be nice to know whether or not I can look forward to more chapters being posted at some point in the future.
Oh well, either way, heading over here led me to find your Sherlock and Torchwood and Star Trek work! I look forward to reading all of that!

Nowadays, though, I no longer post without having the entire work already complete. The delays between updates are now fully about the editing, not the writing, so that's the last WIP you'll see unfinished from me.

I've heard so many people say that IHH will be THE great DW fanfic, that it's a DW masterpiece WIP. I believe that IHH is masterpiece of fiction. Whatever happens (or not), thank you for what you have given us.

Yes, that's it exactly. It's been years since an update and I still think about the story on a regular basis. Masterpiece, indeed. I have literally printed off sections of it to study your writing. Certain influences are evident in my own "Human Nature" based fic.
I know it's been ages, and quite some time even since the above comments were made. I still hold out hope that you'll return to it some day, but if not, I'm still glad that you got as far as you did.

This makes me so sad, I can't even tell you! IHH is my absolute favorite DW story. I had to figure out how to put it on my iPad so that I could take it everywhere with me. Your Nine-John Smith seems completely true to character and the irony of Rose's joy and frustration come through his POV perfectly.
I hope that sometime you find yourself back in the right place to work on IHH again.
