I found out last night that my friend, Lynne, died on Monday night in a one-car accident. She was 27 years old, and had just given birth to a son, Joseph, in September. I met her through Pete, a friend of mine from high school, who was her boyfriend and is Joseph's father. Now he has to raise Joseph on his own. The viewing is on Sunday in Massachusetts, and the funeral is on Monday. I'm taking off work on Monday so I can go to both. There's not much more I can say beyond that; she was a special person, she was loved, and she will be missed. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
