The only time I can ever remember going to Denny's has been when I've been on vacation and the day after Rochus flew to the US to eat breakfast with my parents before going apartment hunting in 1998. In fact, that was the last time I went to Denny's.

Steve, there's a Dennys on Hobson St not 5 minute's walk away from your concrete bunker of an apartment.

Try seeing more of Auckland than just the gay bar and Bespoke-Salad restaurant. :p

and no, I'm not going there with you, it's icky.

Using that logic every meal that you've had here should have been minted lamb washed down with some L&P and pavlova for dessert. :p

And I went to Japan and had Fish & Chips at an English Pub so there. :p

When in the US I have Carl's Jr, it's my only junk fast food.

I have only been to Carl Jr once in my life. Primarily, because I'm not a big fan of hamburgers.

Speaking of junk food, are there Butterfingers in the UK? I seem to remember that being your American candy bar of choice.

You can find Butterfingers in the UK at various prices, usually 3-5 times the cost state-side. I just buy by the box when in the US.

carl's founder/owner is virulently anti-gay, so me nor none of my buds will ever eat there.

George Bush is anti-gay, did you move to Canada?

Colonel Sanders was anti-gay, have you given up KFC?

The American Red Cross and blood banks won't allow gays to donate blood, will you refuse a transfusion if you ever need one?

Lots of US politicians are anti-gay, do you refuse to vote?

Many religions are anti-gay, do you refuse to go to church, pray and believe in God?

The US military are anti-gay, do you refuse to support these Americans serving overseas?
