Pretty much every bad thing I've done was spawned from curiosity and boredom. I used to smoke a lot of pot because I was curious and bored. Not really any peer pressure, though. People would offer but were relieved when I said no 'cause more pot for them!

I eventually stopped because I felt like squatting in the woods and sucking on a sloppy joint was a very high school thing to do. Now I'll do it very very rarely, but only with friends. Also I hate the way I feel when I'm high. Usually when I do it it's out of boredom or because I've been drinking and don't care.

I wonder, did you ever try more sensory stimulation when you smoked pot, or did it all tend to take place while just hanging out in the woods? Did you do things to make the experience interesting?

Would it have been better if you'd been doing it while watching a movie like the one I just added a clip of to the entry?

That was a weird sentence.

When I smoke I get really tired and don't really feel like doing anything. Sometimes I'll watch TV but it doesn't really change anything.

I just really don't like losing control of myself. That's why I barely drink too.

Both and neither, depending on my mood or how much they've been back-talking.

I used to do blow because it was an easy way to stay up if I wanted to stay out all night with my friends, but I stopped because my girlfriend got tired of me wanting to blast Metallica at 4 a.m. while she was trying to sleep.

I never found pot that interesting because it just made me paranoid and hungry. Though I did it a bit in college, because that was pretty much the center of my college's social scene.

How much did you do? Was it really the financial drain that so many of my ex-coke-using friends say it was?

It seems that pot (and E) still make up a lot of college scenes.

Oh, I'd do it maybe once or twice a month. It was never really that much of a financial drain. My friends and I would go in on a bag and usually it was about $40 or $50 each, which is money, but not really that crazy for a big night out.

I don't do drugs, nor am I addicted to anything - well, except Coca-Cola, but they took out the cocaine decades ago.

And yes I am a little afraid of them, or more specifically the way they screw around with your brain chemistry. The body can be repaired (maybe one day replaced), but once your mind's gone, that's it. And my mind's all I've got going for me, so...

Well, I was on E last night. :] I also do acid, shrooms, most other ones thatm ake you trip, pot, and drink.

Well, it's euphoric. It makes me social and happy go lucky. And it makes cuddling with my boyfriend fun.
I sit wit hmy boyfriend, talk, rave, run around, laugh, I like being at parties.

And yes, I live in Miami, Florida. It's very easy to get anything down here...

Big cities, yo, drugs if you just walk down the streets a few blocks.

Miami? Prolly more so.
