I were just thinking that elements of this story reappeared later. However I'm sure it was in an episode of Count Duckula were we saw the return of Highlands Hotel Chain McNastys, and that owl fella.

My dad climbed Ben Nevis.

Also, early appearance of the Zoids - see, its a zoid ! Its a zoid !

"Who stole the bagpipes ?" eventually became the second episode.

And "The Four Tasks of Dangermouse" was Series 2, Episode 6 WTFWOW !

Wow, cool stuff. I never realised how much footage they reused from one episode to another, like the whole Dangermobile launch sequence.

Good call about the Zoid. We already had Zoids back in the Eighties, though -- remember the little wind-up dinosaurs that you put together yourself?

And the Hello Kitty icon rocks. (I've always wondered what it was called in Japanese -- "Konnichiwa Neko"? Well, wait a minute, this is the Information Age . . . huh, it's just "Haro Kiti". Those wacky Japanese and their gaidaigo.)
