My wife is
reading The Boy Who Couldn’t Stop
Washing: The Experience and Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Now she’s
telling me that I shouldn’t have had pesto tonight, as it will make my basal
ganglia problems (Tourette’s, OCD, et al) worse.
Get it? Yeah, nothing like late Sunday night humor.
She also
just pointed out to me, however, that I often put my hand or fingers in front of my mouth when I speak. I’ve
never noticed this, but realized I was doing it when I told her I would try to
be more aware of it. She said that I have a very loud voice to begin with,
though. I think that’s the first time she’s said that and meant it in a good
way.
It’s always interesting to me when
others notice compulsions that I have no idea that I have.
Very twitchy for the past week as I
adjust to new Tourette’s medication doseages.
Also wrote two more articles for Shonen Jump, bringing my total to four. First
one comes out this Tuesday. You can be certain that I’ll remind you.
Back to reading some more Ranma ½ before doing more work on the
comic script for Last Shot.
In conclusion, two new icons I made, one
of which will only be funny to a few people, one of which will be funny to even
less people.
Such is the way of the
misunderstood comic genius.
