Hey, I never said it wasn't art.

I just said that they're "Things I Can't Draw."

I encourage everybody to make a similar page. No consulting reference material.

So I take it you have not seen the work of David Shrigley? You can go to his website here: http://www.davidshrigley.com

After you see this, and understand that this man is one of the current toasts of the art world, I believe you may re-evaluate your work and your inability to draw those things - if not your current career path. *laugh*
If I can tell what they are (and I can), you have the ability to draw them.

I R an artist and I know about these things...

Benjamin Stone, Esquire illustrator. No, I don't feel a ring to it there.

Benjamain Stone, Mad Magazine illustrator. But, wait, they want actual artists.

Fuck Esquire.

Your drawings look SO MUCH like those of a guy from my college's humor magazine. Are you sure you're not a guy named Todd? Even your printing is the same.

(Where did Becky go? Maybe she can confirm this as well.)

I think it was supposed to be a monkey, but it looked like a teddy bear. No, wait, it was an ape.

"A step below Liefeld, a step above Bogdanove...or is that backwards? "

Well there goes the one liner I started looking at these thinking.

Actually, this is bloody terrific. I expect a print. Or at least a print out for my wall.
Go now!

I like how Lizard Man isn't irregular, but his pants are.

As I said over in randompictures, his clothes are from TJ Maxx, and he has to wear short sleeves only b'cause his mom was a T-Rex...
