I tried to conceive a list of thank you's of every person imaginable who have somehow caused me to remember them, no matter how slight or significant the encounter. Try it yourself. Start with your teachers or professors. Think about an overly courteous book store owner. Or a homeless man. A lone woman at a bus stop. Two neighborhood kids out past their curfew. An overbearing rabbi. A stranger who makes flirtatious eye contact. An estranged classmate. A deceased tenant. A drug addict in rehab who didn't suffer on Easter.
I dunno... this list had potential but I am not feeling a writer's flow right now.
