Not making that goal...
Here's the short-version. I've worked on this for two hours and I have nine complete chapters detailed. Five pages written, roughly half the book is outlined in roughly a one-page-of-outline-for-every-fifteen-pages-of-text ratio. Dang, though. I'd forgotten how hard writing purely by myself was.
Anyway. My point is, half the book is all I'm going to get done with for tonight. Maybe I'll make better goals later on... I think I'll set a five-pages-per-day limit on my writing, especially since I'm working full time. Past five pages, the work starts getting pretty bad.
Edit: So. Later... I've gotten to the bits where we haven't written the rough-draft on. I have a great new idea now, and have no inkling how this is going to change the rest of the story.
Grrr.
