hahaha! well that's true too. Tom Lord-Alge is one of like, 10 mixers who work on about 95% of what the record industry makes these days. Greg Calbi I think is one, and then this dude Alan Douches is another one (hahahaha!!! *Douches*) but yeah. He mixes a ton of stuff. I just needed to have some kind of connection there to make it look like Steven Page is somehow this dangerous terrorist only in disguise, and walking among us. Carlos the Jackal is not really that dangerous anymore since I'm pretty sure he's in prison right now.
yeah dude... Chris rules the mixing tools like fuckin... some kind of... album mixing demon or something. That's pretty sad, come to think of it... like you have two brothers who grow up and then they decide, "Hey, let's go into the... sound mixing business... together. Forget being high-powered lawyers or ground-breaking researchers in the field of medicine, we should turn a bunch of little knobs on big mixing boards in a smelly little room for rock stars who don't even know we exist in order to make a living."
They are both great. Tom gets more high profile rock deals, but every record he works on seems to sound the same and have the same general sonic characteristics. Chris does a whole variety of stuff and everything he does sounds super unique and interesting at the same time...its just one of those preferences...
