What the heck
I haven't written anything in a while, time for some random thoughts.
-Still sailing the boat of life. Officially decided to go for a PhD in Systems Engineering so I could focus on all three of my aerospace interests, because specialization is for suckers (thanks Sean, and yes, that quote influenced my decision).
-Gonna be reducing data on Jupiter's atmosphere for a large portion of my double-master's thesis. I have no idea what I'm doing yet. I have to figure it out. Until then, it involves hydrogen traveling at 60 km/s in the upper atmosphere.
-Once again I am reminded why I hate Valentine's Day. Granted, I will be in New York with a buddy who's about to get shipped off to Iraq, but seeing crap all over the place reminding me of how out of touch I am with my emotions is pissing me off. It's not the standard "hating the holiday because it's just for corporations" or the "I'm lonely, boo hoo," hate, it's more like "what the hell's going on in my life and why can't I figure out what I want?" hatred.
-I was talking to this one girl for about a week or so, as often as and with conversational depth comparable to two people who would be hitting it off and could go somewhere. Then she mentioned her boyfriend and how she's not spending enough time with him. Not sure if I should pursue further.
-I did that Facebook 25 things survey and tried to make the rest of the internet think a little deeper and divulge more than just superficial facts. It didn't work, but my list is still badass if you feel like reading it here.
-I need to go shopping because I'm out of food. Not pimpin.
-Snow is fun. That is all.
