Vote.
I tend not to talk too much about politics here, as that's a huge quagmire that I really prefer not to get into online. (Meet me face to face sometime if you really want to talk about these things.) However, there is one thing I think I should really mention. If you live in America, and you're of age, go out and vote today. I don't care for who, or why. Just do it. Democracy requires an engaged populous. If you feel like American politics aren't about the people these days, it's because so many people just don't even get involved enough to go to their polling location and cast their ballot.
So, whatever else you're planning to do today: VOTE.
Horrible thought of the day: Friends of mine who live in Florida know people who didn't vote in 2004 because "their vote didn't matter." *headdesk*
