Read this during a quick work break (found via Bodyhack):
Cow - Prion == Cow immune to BSE?
(BSE for those not in the know is Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, better known as "Mad Cow Disease".)
Seems odd that just turning off a hunk of DNA does't affect the cow's health. Maybe it's something subtle, but so far so good. Just found it odd and thought I'd share.
