Wormwood: Gentlemen Corpse the Cartoon Trailer

Mar 19, 2007 00:58

Lately I've been getting sent some amazing things from people who dig my work, specifically Wormwood have done. It's never happened to me before until now. I don't know why but Wormwood really seems to be vibing with people. I mean, I've never been flown out to meet a band at their gig before. I've never had my art tattooed on someone's living body before, nor people dress up as my characters for Halloween. ( Ok, ther was one person I know of who's dressed as another of my characters before, being Gunnar from S7 )...and pretty soon I'll showcase it all and give them props on the blog.

But...I've never had such effort and work as this go into anything. I know Warren Ellis and others are probably used to being the gods they are...what with the nekkid lady photos I'm sure they get sent all the time but for me this is simply amazing and unexpected. Especially considering how hard it must be to animate my art from the page . This is from the minds of Stever and Frank Gryner. Check them out for all the other things they do, they deserve a huge round of applause for it. When I first saw it it floored me. Stever already supplied me with a possible future title music track just on a whim. That's enthusiasm for you.

If you've never heard of Wormwood, or have been wondering what's in the first TPB ( released last week ) then here's a little taste that you'll hopefully like, and not soon forget.

worms, stever, movies, comics, frank gryner, music, wormwood, bugger, warren ellis, ladies, leprechauns, cartoons, templesmith, trailers, horror, alcohol
