Sneeek Peeek 09 : WORMWOOD Volume 01
It's only days away from the release of the first WORMWOOD:GENTLEMAN CORPSE TPB. ( cue wild applause and women throughing their panties at me...no? ah well. ) March 14th is the word from IDW unless there's been changes...
Volume 01 at 152 pages features 2 stories, the "Leroy's Special Brew" short from the Taster #0 issue and the full miniserial " Birds Bees Blood & Beer "plus an extensive cover gallery ( including all the retailer incentives and other things including an appearance from Harlan Ellison ) and a gallery with a few of the reader images I could find space to include as well as a little look behind the scenes art wise.
Here's a few of the extra interiors I've done up, and yes, if you have a look at that there credits page, you'll see the foreward is done by none other than David Slade, Director Supremo of Hard Candy and the upcoming 30 Days of Night movie. He liked Wormwood so much I had to ask him...couldn't beleive he said yes! Trust me, you won't be forgetting his name after you see the 30 Days movie...all the news I'm hearing on it is good good good.
After the current story arc, Wormwood will go on a breif hiatus while I move onto a few other projects, but I've already signed on for another oneshot followed by another mini I'll start on before the end of the year.
