An explanation for shit and fans?

A co-worker postulated that shit is just every where floating and we are shitless fans. Other less-smart and slower-moving fans don't avoid the floating shit and spray it everywhere as they collide with the floating fecal matter every once in a while.

Don't know if I like that idea.... shit floating around everywhere? That's just kinda unsanitary.
