I'm basically writing here because I don't feel like finishing my Winterreise analysis for German Diction, even though it's due in about an hour and a half. I've written about 4/5 of it, I just have to compare one more recording to one I've already listened to, which should take about 20 minutes. I'm pretty glad I'm finally gonna be finished with the diction classes...they're a pain.
Anyway, I'm performing quite a bit next week. I have my Noon Recital on Tuesday (12:30 in the Gildenhorn! Free! come on by!), I'm singing at another recital on Wednesday that I'm pretty excited about (if anyone who goes to Wootton still reads this they'll understand why...come Wednesday) and I have Francois' studio class on Thursday, which I'm probably singing in since I didn't do the last one when I was sick. Should be a good week for the ol' v-chords.
I'm also coming home to see Honk on Saturday. I'll not miss my first Wootton musical since Hello Dolly, even if it is...Honk...
Anyhow, Schubert calls. It's nice to write in here sometimes, when life is mostly stress-free and there's little but bright skies on the horizon.
