I love that the pieces are falling into place so...so...meticulously...this is so great! I do have a bit of a frowny-face over Gwen's attitude, though. What the hell is wrong with her?

Oh my goodness, though...THIS: Gwen colors a bit, and she guiltily stares down, biting her lip. Ben, on the other hand, pales so swiftly he looks like he might faint, the dark rings under his eyes in stark contrast with his sudden lack of color.

If I had a tail, it would be happily wagging for that little passage there. Happily. Wagging. Just...there was so much RIGHT with that passage; I went back to read it about three or four times before I could move on. <3 this.
