This was absolutely INSANE. Gwen going up in flames, Manny with cake, people not caring about Julie, Albedo and his short shorts (I still have yet to live that down...).

I listed a lot of things out of order, but DEAR GOD. THIS WAS NUTTY AND IT MADE ME LAUGH.

Now, now, THIS passage right here:

“Don’t we get to see a lot of, I dunno, you guys looking at the body and talking to each other and writing clues on a whiteboard and meeting with real suspects and actually catching them eventually?” Ben asked the fine-scarf’d assistant while patting Kevin’s leg, who smiled hopefully.

“No,” the sexy lady alien cop said, and the man’s hope wilted. “That shit only happens on bad crime procedurals.”

“Or good ones,” the man pointed out, stroking his scarf affectionately.

“Or good ones,” she amended. “Anyway, in the real alien world, we just pick people up who don’t stand a chance of getting out of it, convict them, then either fry them or send them into another dimension. It’s easier on interplanetary politics that way.”

This entire passage had me doubling over. I don't even know why. My all-time favorite description, though, was of Gwen bursting into flames. It was...epic. Very epicly epic. Full of epicness. Yeah. So...thanks for sharing this ball of nuttiness with us.

I never expected Gwen + fire to be such a smash hit, but then I guess I forgot who the target audience is lmaoo

That passage introducing the sexy alien cop lady and her companion is enjoyable because it's directly modeled on all the most entertaining silly crime procedural shows I have filling up the DVR (bones, castle, psych, etc)

THANKS FOR ENJOYING I LOVE YOU TOO
