Watching his younger self collapse onto the ground, Kevin 11k rubbed the back of his own head with his free hand, feeling a small scar that wasn't there a moment before.
"We need to get him-me, whatever, outta here!" He looked to Gwen. She nodded in agreement and rolled them over to the teenager.
Vilgax grinned at the what he saw before him; they couldn't escape like that, and though Julie's interference would set them back, they were already closer to their goal to dispose of Ben. Kill his friends and it would drag him out of hiding, and being by himself he'd be easier to take down.
Gwen brought the younger Kevin into the mana orb, keeping her guard up so the enemy couldn't break the shield. Kevin 11k was focusing on Albedo, he already knew what would become of him so he didn't bother to leave the shield to front an attack. In his transformed state, Kevin could take down Vilgax easily, but he couldn't kill Albedo because of the part he played later in life.
"Think you could take both Julie and my younger self back to the apartment?" The elder asked, though he was sure she wouldn't really be able to carry them both. Julie maybe, but his younger self was much larger than her.
"Sorry, Kevin, but you have to come with us anyways." She watched him sigh and pick up his youngerself, careful not to move him around too much. Kevin 11 looked around for a moment, watching as Swampfire began charging at them.
"Three... Two... One." He counted down, watching as time came to a screeching halt before them, Gwen looking around in confusion. "Alright Paradox, little help getting these two to safety?"
"Hm, maybe I have become predictable." The man appeared out of nowhere, earning a small surprised yelp from Gwen. "You look quite familiar, have we met before?" He grinned at Kevin 11k, already knowing what was happening.
"No time for formalities." Paradox said quickly, watching Kevin close his mouth. "Come now, Ben will be expecting us any time now." And with that, they headed back to the apartment.
Ben sat on the couch, already having flipped though all the channels that basic cable had to offer him. He couldn't focus on the TV anyways, he was worried. He should be there! He should be helping them fight! Protecting his friends and beating the tar out of Vilgax.
He jumped as the door opened, the party already back from their fight. Green eyes focused on the bodies that the older Kevin held, setting the girl on the couch to lie down, bringing his younger self to his bed. Ben followed him. He didn't bother questioning Julie's presence, if they brought her then they must have an explanation. He didn't care that Paradox was there, but he was worried about why Kevin had blood coming from his head.
"W...what happened to him?" Ben was a mess at the moment; he should have been there to protect him! And here Kevin was, breathing in a labored manner, fresh blood from his head and bruises covering him.
"Don't worry about it, just keep him safe for now. We love the attention even though he'll never admit it." Kevin 11k grinned, watching Ben sit on the side of the bed, examining his lover carefully. "If I'm alive then he'll be fine."
"Why not take him to a hospital? Why back here? There's nothing we can use to take care of him." Ben didn't take his eyes off of the hurt teenager that lay before him.
"One thing you'll learn, Ben, is that we hate hospitals. And another thing you'll learn, is that we also always have somethin' around to take care of ourselves." Kevin 11k bent down and felt around under the bed, pulling out a kit. "And it's usually under here."
Kevin 11k smiled and gave Ben a kiss on his forehead as he handed him the kit. "I missed how cute you were now." He said to the blushing boy before leaving the room.
"I'm sorry Kevin... I should've..." The brunet stopped himself, knowing that if he said anything else he'd break down. So he opened the box and began taking care of his injured lover, vowing that next time he'd be there to protect him.

And I was eager to get this done too. So what part does Albedo have to play in the future? >:3
