New (I come with an offering XD)
Hello! I'm new here, though I'm not really new to the Bevin fandom... I've loved that since I first saw the episode where Ben and Kevin first meet. Though I was a bit of a yaoi lover already, but that's besides the point! :D Now before I start rambling, I'd better just give you all my offering. It's not a fic, just a little poem I wrote.

I heard your scream before the sickening crunch,
I spun round and saw a pile of rubble in your place.
My body moved of it's own accord and I soon found myself digging you out,
Not long after I began, I found you, body mangled beyond belief.
You were still alive, but only just.
You groaned out my name and my heart clenched
I told you not to speak, to save your strength.
But you ignored me, you had something important to say.
I will never forget what passed your lips into the air;
"I love you,"
You loved me! You had no idea how long I had waited to hear you say that.
I bent down and kissed you, before replying, "I love you too."
But our love was short lived, you soon lost consciousness.
And though the paramedics tried to revive you, it was too late.
You were gone, and you could never come back.
I held your body until they forced me to let go.
I couldn't loose you, not again, I wanted to stay with you.
I wish I could say I was brave, that I was strong for us, but I cannot.
And not long after the world lost you, it lost me as well.
But I did not mourn, because I opened my eyes to the pearly gates.
And you, waiting just beyond them for me.
I do not know what I did to deserve your love,
But I will return it for all eternity.
I really don't care what Christian faith says about suicide, Kevin goes to heaven! Hey I made a rhyme! XDDD
Inspiration? I don't remember the name, but I remember reading a Bevin fic where Ben gets crushed by rubble as one of his aliens and he ends up at the hospital. My thought was what would have happened if he hadn't survived?
So what did you think of my offering? did you like it? Constructive Criticism and comments are loved! But flames and just plain criticism will be ignored! :D
