I tend to write more in my English journal, lately, but at least everything is recorded, right? So my new obsession, you ask? Well... it was bound to happen one day and thanks to the Nintendo Wii it's here. Hannah loves The Legend of Zelda (Twilight Princess). I have been looking at fanart for the past 2 hours and 2 hours yesterday... I like the Art in Twilight Princess so realistic and I love the style. What's comical is how Link changed so much from the arcade games where he was just a little gathering of odd pixels with what was supposed to be a shield and sword to the Twilight Princess game which I think is the newest. I watched the first episode of the 1989 TV show out of curiosity and thought it was the most comical thing I ever saw... except now Link is forever in my mind as both: a) A noble, heroic, courageous, young Hylian Boy with romantic qualities that he keeps to himself, constantly putting destiny first. And: b) A cocky, arrogant, lovsick, whiny, teen-bastard who balances out both protecting this geeky crystal and trying to capture the object of his desires... both with many flaws and little success. It's rather aggravating, to say the least. I don't know which character I like the best/least... because they're both extremely interesting. However, though Link doesn't SPEAK in the game (so annoying) one is able to get a feel of the character. Hence fanfiction is usually very good... even though you could do anything to the character. Apparently Jessica was a Link fangirl with pictures of him in her locker, binders, and books all last year... but got over the infatuation and threw it all out. Pity I wasn't too great of friends with her through that to witness it. 'Twould have been a right good show.
Speaking of Asuka-chan... I went to her house again today. The original purpose was for her to teach me how to make Link catch a fish on the Wii... but damn the elf he's too nice! Just because he didn't need the fish, he let it go! Gah! I didn't even learn to catch the stupid thing and catch the damned cat and >.><.
