I found Suzuken interview in Dengeki Girls, about his new character in new otome game spin-off from Hakuoki, Urakata Hakuoki. i still now much know about the detail game, what I'm sure the game itself really different with previous Hakouki with the character and maybe the story, I had fun translated this when knowing Suzuken not really fond in history XD

“Because it’s seems to be vain, there’s story with faint agony, almost like your heart is gripping the pain.”
-The first is, please tell us about your feelings when you’re chosen to participate in “Urakata Hakuoki”.
From people who act in previous Hakuoki, when I ask them, they said, “Hakuoki is interesting work”. Shou-chan,* Miki-san**, and even Yayochan*** said that. That’s why when I got this chance to play on, unusual I was really anticipated it. But I think Urakata Hakuoki from previous Hakuoki is different, because it was spin-off work, there’s a bit anxiety (bitter laugh). There’s many fan with the series, from each fan already has their image. From there, if there’s another character that popped out in the series, I mean that a little bit anxiety is from those thoughts. That why, now I’m in state of praying, so everyone can accept me (and character) in Urakata Hakuoki.
- Urakata Hakuoki story and character you’re playing with, what your impression about?
If I speak about Izou related scenario, I think it’s a story that always with faint agony feels like your heart is gripping the pain. His feeling is under impression “myself don’t exist” generally in either his consciousness or manners. His sole existence only swordsmanship. Main story is when there’s part oneself (Izou) found his identity but not a swordsmanship, so Izou’s figure when little by little starting to make his place where he is belong, I can’t say anything but sorrowful feelings. What kind of human, even they has inferiority complex. Surely people who play this game can pilling up feelings and can support this brave role (Izou).
- And then, about the previously historical fact of Okada Izou, before you playing this role, what your basic knowledge about him?
Hmm…I’m disinterested with history, so I don’t really know about him (bitter laugh). …But for “Assassins Izou” I know about that!
- That’s phrase really famous. What’s image do you think about that?
I think he is fairly bad guy. Because terrible spirit of inferiority he hold, image to describe about him are many bad image. From historical fact of Okada Izou, I interpreted it, to simplify it, in any history ‘person who poor associate with other people’ or ‘assassins related only to best thing in earth’, those factors is left behind. Those two big factors are selections from Okada Izou in Urakata Hakuoki, with those Izou’s two big factors are really nice fusion. In game, because Izou’s character drawing really looks manly, I thought, “The maker really good making this” (laugh).
