Challenge #9 - In your own space, list your Fandom Wrap categories.
I'm actually going to use my
Tumblr Year In Review to help answer this because I'm terrible at remembering these kinds of things after the fact. (^^)"
What are your top five fandoms for 2021 based on the amount of time you interacted with them?
1. Vanitas no Carte - It's been this way for the last five years. XD
2. Witch Hat Atelier - Continually gets better and better.
3. The Stormlight Archive - The fourth book came out and it consumed me. I reread the entire series in preparation.
4. Shaman King - The 2021 reboot!
5. Murderbot Diaries - This didn't wind up on Tumblr, but I did reread it twice last year and probably will do so again this year.
What are your top five fandom spaces in terms of time spent? (AO3, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Dreamwidth, and others)
1. Tumblr - I'm not always using it to interact with fandom, though. I also use it for (quite a lot of) art and scenery.
2. Dreamwidth - Also don't interact with fandom exclusively, but I do use it to ramble about my fandoms. XD
3. AO3 - All the time it seems.
4. Various Wikis
5. Various game sites
What are the top five ways you interacted in these fandoms? (Reading fanfic, writing, commenting, watching videos, chatting with friends, making art, or anything else you can think of).
1. Writing fanfic
2. Writing meta
3. Reading fanfic
4. Reblogging fan art
5. Thinking about these series a whole lot
What are the top five things you did to contribute to fandom in terms of time? Did you write? Comment? Send positive energy into the universe? Create art?
1. So much writing. 8D Writing pretty much takes up all five slots, I think. XD
2. I also tried to comment on fic.
What things did you create that took the most time?
1. My multi-chapter fics and meta take so much time. :0 Unfortunately, they also take up all five slots. XD My fannish time is dominated by writing, unsurprisingly, which means Dreamwidth works out pretty well. Someday I would like to branch out into gaming videos. Not streaming, just recordings and thoughts said aloud as I play. It (might) save time on the actual writing. Hard to say.
