Initial Bloodborne Thoughts
My siblings and I have gotten to try out Bloodborne recently and, as I feared, we are all overwhelmingly bad at this game. Just wow. XD I'm not fully convinced there's anything beyond this first level. Surely the whole game is just this one group of pissed off villagers followed by some snow beast thing and that's it.
We did end up looking up some advice since none of us are quite ready to give up the ghost and that has helped a bit. We have gotten proper armor and we have stocked up on blood vials and Molotov cocktails. I am hopeful that I might just blow the boss to smithereens and skip out on tactics entirely, though I'm not about to bet on it much.
I read up how to "parry" in this game and I'm just going to say that doesn't really sound like a parry. I don't know what it sounds like. Possibly a homework assignment.
Ahh, it's not all bad, but even though I knew I was in for a difficult time with this being similar to Dark Souls I still wasn't ready. I think the problem being that I wanted this game to function like Diablo just without the overhead and it very much is not that even remotely. I think I won't know how to judge the game much until after I get to the next level, but we'll see.
