Sega Genesis Music 2

In my last post about this I only included music from games I had actually played. The soundtracks are excellent, but nostalgia was also a factor. However, I have never owned Ecco: The Tides of Time (a mistake I fully intend to rectify at some point), but this game's soundtrack is ridiculously good.

I particularly like the Title Theme, "Fin to Feather," "Time Travel," and "Tube of Medusa." They're all fantastic, though. I'm going to assume this game is just as hard as the previous Ecco. That first game really was hard. XD But so, so good and it always captured the majesty of the ocean and the sadness Ecco must be going through as he ventures onwards.

Maybe games should look more into odd protagonists like this again. More sympathetic time-travelling, alien-meeting dolphins!

Edit: I just learned that Ed Annunziata worked on both Ecco and Chakan: The Forever Man and I just have to say that explains a lot. Both games are incredibly difficult and kind of unusual, so I'm guessing he's the one responsible for my infinite replays of the first two levels of Ecco!
