Lauren and I have decided to be sorta friends with benefits for now, each for our own reasons. Living in different towns and not having transportation is a big one. Also, she just got out of a relationship a few weeks ago, so she wants to enjoy the single life. For now, I'm happy with how things are.
My *favorite band* played a free concert in New York on Monday, I was pretty pissed I had to miss it. I just got home from a half day of school, so I could have easily made the show if I had a means of getting there. They drove up and down Brooklyn and Times Square playing out of a flatbed truck. I got a few video clips of the performance, it was spectacular. Also, I saw their performance from Saturday Night Live last week, also incredible, especially "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own". It was hilarious Bono gave that lady in the audience a lapdance during "I Will Follow"--I'm not sure if she was terrified or ecstatic. I wish he'd give me a lapdance.. damn.
