Biking home from jazz in the botanical gardens the other night I discovered this beautiful former synagogue which has been converted into a apartments. What an awesome idea.
I am also super excited about these bean sprouts - I planted them in an outdoor plastic container along with cinnamon basil, peas, fennel and some other stuff a few days ago and thought maybe I'd be getting nil out of them. I watered and watered and still nothing doing. Then, this morning, the bean sprouts are HUGE! Literally an inch overnight - unbelievable.
Sweet beans! These are the very same sprouts later in the day!
