Enough of Japan, Im out...

My last day in Japan and it is raining, raining, raining!
Today it is two month since Im in this country and its a day when Im leaving it. Im taking the slow ferry tonight from Fukuoka (or Shimonoseki) and will be back in Busan tomorrow morning ;))

My original plan of going to Okinawa and Taiwan didnt worked, because of the difficulties with the taiwanese visa, so Im moving back to "visa free" Korea!

Two months in Japan and it was enough time for me to understand that this country is not on my favorite list and probably after 50+ countries I've been in my travels, Japan would be one of those where I would like to come back the least.
Maybe the winter weather did a big part of my negative impression and maybe one day it would be interesting to come and do some trekking in the mountain areas here (Hokkaido), or to explore some isolated parts of this land, but I just didnt fell in love with the modern japanese culture and lifestyle.
Off course not everything is bad here. The mountains are spectacular, the beer is very drinkable and the japanese girls are (WOW!!!) really cute and beautiful! The girls here has some of the craziest, "mouth opening" figures I've ever seen and believe me, they DONT try to hide it :DD

At the same time, financially Japan wasnt as bad as I expected. I did juggling on the streets most of the weekends here. Some of the times were depressing and cold, some of them really pleasant (like the last one in Kagoshima) and I got kicked out by security wards countless of times, but I still managed to spend two months in this expensive country and leave it with more money in my pockets than I came here. I got a digital camera in Tokyo, I was spending up to a 20$ a day, the 100$ for the ferry back to Korea and Im still leaving Japan with about 200$ surplus in my budget!

So, Im done with the "land of the rising sun" (at least for the next decade), hopefully tomorrow I'll be enjoying the sun in Korea and from here it starts my SLOW way back to the west ;)
